Kurt Azarbarzin currently serves as CEO of ColubrisMX, a medical device company developing the worlds most advanced fully-robotic Endoluminal (ELS) and Single-Port (SPS) surgical robotic platforms. He was previously the President and CEO of Verb Surgical, a JV between J&J and Google developing soft tissue surgical robots. Daniel Kim, MD,

Founder, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Daniel Kim, Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), is the Founder, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Medical Officer of ColubrisMX. Dr. Kim has won numerous awards and honors, authored hundreds of papers, owns over 150 patents and published 20 surgical textbooks. He is a preeminent researcher in peripheral nerve repair through nerve transfer and nerve graft and is also recognized for his work in neurorehabilitation through robotics and cortical stimulation, spinal biomechanics, and innovative neuromodulation treatments for chronic pain. Dr. Kim is adjunct professor of Bioengineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Rice University.
